David Phillips

David Phillips has been in the fashion industry for 50 years.​

I started learning to sew in my garage as a bet that I could sew better than my ex-wife. It then began as a hobby then a career.

​

Attended El Centro College fashion design program in 1975, and began working in the industry in 1977. 

​

I worked as a pattern maker, technical designer and designer for many Dallas based companies such as JCPenney and Hagger Mens Wear.

​

And in 2013 my love for costume design led me to start Curtains 2 Costumes!
